Early Birthday Present

Even though I had Monday off from both work and school for Labor day, this week has been crazy for me. I knew going into it that it was going to be since I had two different tests in three days, one of them being VERY important for me to be able to move on in school. Both of these particular tests were incredibly tough though. For some reason the lab/lecture class that I am currently in now (Crowns and Bridges) has been a lot tougher for me than any other one that I've been through. The first test that I took was a regular chapter test from the textbook and by seeing the teachers look on her face when she came back with our graded answer sheet, it was not a good test for almost anyone in the class. I managed somehow to pull it off with a 91%. I was thrilled beyond belief but by seeing how hard the first test was I knew the second one coming up was going to be bad too. To make matters even worse, the test coming up is very important because you have to get an 85% or better on it in order to pass the class (sadly I have this kind of test every six weeks too.) The test was only 30 questions altogether so I could have only gotten four wrong in order to pass it. Pressure on! Miraculously I managed a 100%. I'm still in shock from it too. I like to think of it as an early birthday present to myself. Now I get to go into the weekend feeling absolutely wonderful about myself. Not a bad feeling.
