Presidential Debates

After watching the presidential debates yesterday, it only reminded me even more why John McCain shouldn't be president. I will admit that I wasn't impressed by Obama or McCain. I found the debate rather boring actually but none the less I did continue to watch the entire thing through as I think many people should do. I'm not by any means saying that nothing important was talked about but nothing stuck out for me to be too impressed by. I really don't think that the debate last night would've changed anyone's opinions whether they be democrat, republican, or neither. I don't think of myself as a political person at all, I'm far from it but I do know that this election could change everything for the better if Obama is chosen to be the next president.

The fact that McCain, not once, in the debate looked at Obama, he never glanced up toward him or even attempted to look in the same direction as where Obama was standing just tells me that he finds Obama to be beneath him in some way. Even after being told to talk to each other (McCain to Obama and vice versa) by Jim, the man behind the desk asking the important questions, he not once looked at Obama. Obama on the other hand after being told to talk to McCain....did. McCain's body language, to me, also showed that he didn't want to be there and that he was well.......in a pissy mood. I am hoping and praying that Obama is the next president because if McCain ends up being in the white house I'm positive that it will be a huge disaster for everyone.
